Attorney Jason L. Bergevin has been selected to serve on the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Washington State Bar Association until 2019.
On April 25th at the King County Courthouse, attorney Robert Maxwell of Holmquist and Gardiner argued for, and received, a writ of restitution ordering a tenant unlawfully detaining a rental property to be removed and possession restored to the rightful owner. The matter revolved around a family dispute, presenting a series of complex and challenging facts for this eviction. The simple take away, even if family is involved, always have a written lease in place. Jason L. Bergevin has been elected to serve as 1st-VP of the ARCADE Board of Trustees., a Seattle-based design publication whose mission is to reinforce the principle that thoughtful design at every scale of human endeavor improves our quality of life.
Jason Bergevin will be a faculty member presenting at the Sterling Education Services, Inc., Construction Law: Designs, Delays, Disputes, and Delivery. The seminar will be held in Seattle, WA on April 29, 2016. Jason will be speaking on the various project delivery systems, the bidding process, and bid protests and environmental considerations.

Robert earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from University of Washington where he played for and captained its Ice Hockey Team. Hamilton H. Gardiner has joined the South Seattle College Foundation’s Board of Directors. The goal of South Seattle College is to provide students with scholarship opportunities to pursue quality academic and vocational education. As a board member, Hamilton will contribute his time and resources to enrich the lives and build hope of the students enrolled at South Seattle College.
